About Stephanie

Stephanie Rodd is a French singer-songwriter born on 15 December 1993 in Martigues, in the south of France. Passionate about music from an early age, she grew up surrounded by French and Italian music before gradually developing a strong connection to Anglophone culture and exploring genres such as pop, jazz, and soul.

 

Alongside her musical journey, Stephanie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages in English and Italian, as well as a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies, experiences that deepened her connection to storytelling, artistic expression, and the English language. Fluent in English, she predominantly writes and performs her songs in this language.

 

Since 2023, Stephanie has released several singles as well as her debut EP, 'Recovered', available on all streaming platforms. Blending pop, jazz, and soul influences, her music explores themes such as resilience, personal growth, freedom, self-acceptance, love, and emotional healing. Through an intimate and authentic musical universe, she delivers emotionally driven songs with a style reminiscent of artists such as Olivia Dean, Amy Winehouse,

and Corinne Bailey Rae.
